Markus grew up in Munich, Germany spending his childhood building tree houses, furniture, and go-karts. His natural interest in construction organically led him to pursue a career in the industry.
Moving to Canada in 2003, he quickly became involved in the Vancouver construction community. Utilizing his project management skills, he’s worked on landmark projects such as the Vancouver Convention Centre and the major upgrade at BC Place. Markus’ European heritage is reflected in his work, displaying a keen eye for detail in finish carpentry.
Since then, he has worked for nearly 30 years in the industry on a wide variety of projects, including commercial and residential building and renovations, heritage home restorations, high-end contemporary constructions, and the creation of two PNE prize
